Emily shares her personal experience and journey of being on an NBA dance team and then transitioning to being on an NFL cheerleading team in Colorado.

Every organization’s dance and cheerleading teams will vary in style, look, and overall presentation so you always need to put the time into researching the specific team that you plan to audition for - especially across different leagues, as they all vary in requirements and presence.

For instance, there will be drastic requirement differences transitioning from the Miami Heat Dancers to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, so again, always do your research and be knowledgeable on the team you are looking to audition for.
